Jim Denman graduated from Cumberland School of Law at Samford University with a Juris Doctorate degree and from California State University at Fresno with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with emphasis in Economics and Finance.  Mr. Denman was admitted to The Florida Bar in 1974, District of Columbia Bar in 1985 and Colorado Bar in 1988.  He was admitted to the U.S. District Court for the Southern and Middle Districts of Florida (including Trial Bars) in 1975 and 2000 respectively, the United States Court of Appeals, Fifth and Eleventh Circuits in 1975 and 1981 respectively and the Supreme Court of the United States in 1979.  He holds a Series 6 (Mutual Funds), Series 7 (General Securities Representative) and Series 65 (Investment Advisor) licenses from the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (FINRA) formerly known as the National Association of Securities Dealers (NASD) and is licensed by the State of Florida and New York to sell Life, Health and Variable Annuities.

He is an active member of: The Florida Bar (Member, Family Law Section, Aviation Law Committee (Chairman 1999-2000), Real Property, Probate and Trust Law Section, Elder Law Section, Judicial Nominating Procedures Committee (2002-2006); Broward County Bar Association (Chairman, Law Office Management and Technology Committee 1997-1999); Broward County Bar Association (Member, Elder Law Section); Broward County Estate Planning Council; Lawyer-Pilots Bar Association;  NTSB Bar Association; National Academy of Elder Law Attorneys (NAELA) and the Academy of Florida Elder Law Attorneys (AFELA).

Meritorious achievements include selection for Who's Who in American Law, 4th Edition. Jim is Board Certified as a Civil Trial Lawyer and Aviation Lawyer by The Florida Bar, Board of Legal Specialization and Education.  He serves as a  seminar speaker on the subjects of Estate Planning and Asset Protection, Internet Resources for Lawyers, Tort, Aviation Law and Insurance Coverage. Sponsoring organizations have been The Florida Bar, Continuing Legal Education department, private organizations, insurance and financial service companies. He was named a "Florida Super Lawyer" in 2006 by Law & Politics the publishers of Florida Superlawyers 2006.

Mr. Denman is licensed by the State of Florida, Department of Insurance to sell life, health and annuity insurance products and by the State of Florida and the National Association of Securities Dealers (NASD) as a registered financial representative.  Securities are offered through G.A.
